Cancel your Safenix subscription from the billing page in the dashboard. The cancellation takes one click, and the dashboard shows the exact date on which it will take effect.
Cancel your subscription
- Open the billing page in the Safenix dashboard.
- Use the cancellation control and confirm with one click.
- Check the effective date shown by the dashboard.
Cancellation does not delete any data. Until the end of the period that has already been paid, nothing changes: your servers continue to back up normally.
What happens when cancellation takes effect
At the end of the paid period, backups stop and the account is closed. Closing the account does not delete the backups. They remain stored until the retention window for your plan expires.
After the account closes, you have 30 days to ask Safenix to reopen it with everything intact. Reopening is not automatic and cannot be done from the dashboard.
After those 30 days, you can request permanent deletion of the account and its data. This request releases a deletion certificate and is irreversible. If you do not request permanent deletion, the backups expire automatically according to the plan’s retention window. Once they have expired, there is nothing left to return to.
Undo a cancellation
You can cancel the scheduled cancellation at any time before its effective date with one click. You do not need to reconfigure anything: no payment was missed, no card needs to be registered again, and no server needs to be changed.
When cancellation is not available
- If the service has already stopped because there is no payment method, there is nothing left to cancel and nothing will be charged.
- If your plan was agreed directly with Safenix rather than through the dashboard, close it by contacting Safenix.
- If the subscription has already been cancelled, there is no further cancellation action to take.
