Change your Safenix plan from the billing page in the dashboard by selecting the plan you want. The change is scheduled for your next renewal date, not applied immediately.
Change your plan
If your subscription has already been cancelled, restore it from the same billing page before changing the plan. A plan change is not available while the subscription is cancelled.
Open the billing page in the dashboard.
Select the plan you want. The change is scheduled for the next renewal date.
If the new price is higher than the amount authorised by your registered card, the dashboard will indicate this when you schedule the change. Confirm the card for the new amount before the renewal date.
When the change takes effect
Nothing is charged when you schedule the change, and nothing changes before the next renewal date. You pay the old price until the end of the period already paid, then the new price from the following renewal. There is no adjustment for days that have already passed.
If you are still in the free trial, the change takes effect when the trial ends.
Cancel a scheduled change
You can cancel the scheduled plan change at any time before it takes effect. The account then remains on the current plan.
If the new price is higher than your card authorisation
The card must be confirmed for the new amount before the renewal date. A charge higher than the amount currently authorised is not attempted, and it does not trigger a failed-payment notice.
What happens when moving to a smaller plan
Before selecting a smaller plan, note that the change affects server registration, storage notifications and retention:
Servers already registered above the new plan's limit continue to work and continue making backups. Only registration of new servers is rejected.
If the occupied storage exceeds the amount included in the new plan, you receive an email notification. Backups continue without interruption.
The retention window becomes the one included in the new plan. It also applies to backups already taken: backups older than the new window are removed by the normal automatic cleanup.
